                             residents wanting to preserve the small town  identity of Fernandina Beach and its natural beauty.

  • 10 Nov 03 the Nassau Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) unanimously passed the proposed County tree ordinance for the unincorporated portion of Amelia Island. 
  • 1 Nov 03  Tree Ordinances - Support both City and County plans to develop new tree ordinances for Amelia Island.  County Canopy Tree Road Ordinance approved 8/20/01.  Fernandina Beach City tree ordinance was improved January 2002.  A proposed County tree ordinance has been developed and is being sent to the County Planning and Zoning Board and then the County Commission for approval.  Approval hoped for first quarter 2003.
